Religious Vocations  

A young woman entering our community spends one year as a postulant At the beginning of the second year the postulant is clothed as a novice in the  habit and  given a religious name. At the completion of the second year the young Sister makes simple vows for three years. She is clothed with the black scapular and black cincture as signs of her consecration to God. The formation period totals five years before a young religious may profess Solemn Vows.
